Dr Pauline Ho, guest speaker from Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), was invited to give an admissions talk to S 6 students, detailing the programmes, admission requirements and application tactics on the annual Careers Counselling Day on 28 Sept 2018.
Counsellors from The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong and mentors conducted class-based careers and life planning workshops in the second session of the Day. The sixth-formers were assisted to realize their strengths, their potential, their preferred working styles and ultimately their careers orientation. They were also helped to identify careers and study options that suit their interests, values, abilities and circumstances.
In the last session of the day, individual counselling service was rendered by careers teachers to those who had difficulty completing their Careers & Life Planning Counselling Form. Support was given to guide them through the process of JUPAS programme selection.
