The PLKVKTC-PLKTNK Joint School Sports Day took place on 4th October 2024 and 7th October 2024 at the Kowloon Bay Sports Ground. This year, we were honored to welcome Ms. Ching Siu Nga, a renowned Hong Kong race walking athlete, as our guest of honor.
The event brought together students from KTC and TNK to showcase their athletic talents and foster a spirit of camaraderie. Throughout the two days, participants engaged in a variety of competitions, including track events, relays, and field activities, creating an exciting atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the Sports Day was the display of the Olympic spirit among the students. Athletes demonstrated not only their physical prowess but also a commitment to fair play, respect, and perseverance—values that are central to the Olympic ideals. The cheers of support from students echoed through the venue, reinforcing the bonds of friendship and unity.
Students exhibited remarkable sportsmanship, celebrating each other's successes and encouraging those who faced challenges. This collective spirit of determination and encouragement embodied the essence of competition, reminding everyone present that while winning is important, the journey and the relationships built along the way are invaluable.
Students, teachers and parents gathered to cheer on their teams, making it a memorable occasion for everyone involved. The support and participation from the school community were truly commendable, highlighting the importance of teamwork and perseverance.
