The 33rd Annual Speech Day and 35th Anniversary Launch Ceremony of

Po Leung Kuk Vicwood K.T. Chong Sixth Form College

The 33rd Annual Speech Day and the Launch Ceremony of the 35th Anniversary of Po Leung Kuk Vicwood K.T. Chong Sixth Form College was successfully held on Friday, 23rd May 2025.  It is our great pleasure to have Ms Woo Man, Chief School Development Officer for Yau Tsim Mong, as the Guest of Honour this year. 

We were honoured that the ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Mrs Amanda T W Lee JP, Chairman of Po Leung Kuk and School Supervisor; Mrs Winnie W L Chan, Former Chairman of Po Leung Kuk; Dr. Patrick W K Chan, Sponsoring Body Manager; Mrs Laverna J L Chan Tong, Director of Po Leung Kuk and Sponsoring Body Manager; Ms Loretta Lam, Sponsoring Body Manager; Mr Wong Shun Kit, Alumni Manager; and Ms Yeung Po Yan, Parent Manager.  Many parents also joined the ceremony to celebrate their children's achievements across various disciplines and witness this significant milestone in their educational journey via livestream in classrooms. 

The ceremony commenced at 10:30 a.m. in the School Hall.  Opening the event, Chaiman and School Supervisor Mrs Lee JP delivered a warm address, followed by our Principal’s presentation of the school's annual report.  Ms Woo Man, our Guest of Honour, delivered an inspiring speech expressing her sincere gratitude to Po Leung Kuk for its unwavering commitment to quality education and recognised our staff’s dedication over the past 34 years.  She emphasized the school’s guiding motto of love, respect, diligence, and integrity, highlighting its role in nurturing responsible citizens.  Ms. Woo encouraged graduates to embrace compassion and community spirit as they transition into society, urging them to apply their knowledge and experiences to make a positive impact.  Concluding her speech, she extended warm congratulations to all graduates, inspiring them to step forward and brighten the world with kindness.

A remarkable highlight of the ceremony was the formal presentation of graduation certificates to 125 proud graduates of the College by our Guest of Honour Ms Woo Man and Chairman and School Supervisor Mrs Lee JP.  Other distinguished guests presented various prizes and awards to our students, including academic prizes, service awards, conduct prizes, and PTA Awards.

Representing the graduating classes, Ms Wong Tung Yam of class 6B delivered his valedictorian speech.  She expressed sincere gratitude to teachers, school staff, and parents and bade all students to embark on their journeys ahead with the gust of goodwill.

The ceremony concluded at 12:00 p.m., marked by a memorable photo-taking session capturing cherished moments between esteemed guests, graduates, and dedicated teachers.  Following the group photo, a launch ceremony was held to celebrate the school's 35th anniversary, officially marking the beginning of this new chapter. The event also featured the singing of the theme song created for the 147th Anniversary of Po Leung Kuk, culminating in a collective chant of the Po Leung Kuk slogan: “有創新，有愛心，保良局Welldone!”  The morning was filled with reflection and joy as graduates reunited with teachers, classmates, and friends.  We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and wish them the very best as they forge ahead on their new life paths.

保良局莊啟程預科書院第三十三屆畢業典禮暨建校三十五周年啟動儀式

本校第三十三屆畢業典禮已於2025年5月23日﹙星期五﹚順利舉行，油尖及旺角區總學校發展主任胡敏女士蒞臨擔任主禮嘉實，全體師生欣幸之至！

承蒙嘉賓鼎力支持，光臨指導，增輝添慶，不勝感銘。該日出席嘉賓包括：保良局主席暨本校校監李何芷韻女士、前保良局主席陳黎惠蓮女士、校董陳永錕博士、保良局總理暨校董湯陳筠霖女士、校董林綺薇女士、校友校董黃信傑先生及家長校董楊寶欣女士。眾家長親臨本校，在課室觀賞畢業典禮現場直播，目睹子女取得學業成就的喜悅時刻，同時見證子女踏入人生重要里程碑。

上午十時三十分，本校於禮堂舉行典禮，先由主席李何芷韻女士致歡迎辭，接著邱萬光校長作校務報告，主禮嘉賓胡敏女士亦隨後致辭。胡女士衷心感謝保良局對優質教育的堅定不移，並肯定了本校教職員在過去34年的建樹。她對保良局「愛、敬、勤、誠」的校訓深表認同，並肯定了保良局在培育社會公民方面的貢獻。胡女士鼓勵畢業生踏入社會後要懷有愛心，熱心服務社區，並運用所學，發揮正面影響。最後，她向所有畢業生致以熱烈的祝賀，激勵他們勇往直前，用慈愛照亮世界。

其後，主禮嘉賓胡敏女士及主席李何芷韻女士正式頒發畢業證書予125位書院畢業生，其他嘉賓也分別為畢業生頒發學業成績獎、服務獎、操行獎及家教會獎學金。

畢業生代表6B王彤鑫發表致謝辭，感激老師、教職員及家長的悉心教導與關懷，並祝願同學前程錦繡、鵬程萬里。

最後，各位嘉賓、畢業生與全體老師合照，記錄彌足珍貴的時刻。第三十三屆畢業典禮於下午12時00分圓滿結束。接着舉行建校 35 周年啟動儀式，標誌著全體上下邁向新篇章。隨後眾嘉賓唱出保良局 147 周年主題曲〈愛在星光中〉，高呼保良局口號：「有創新，有愛心，保良局Welldone﹗」為儀式畫上了圓滿句號。畢業典禮讓嘉賓、家長、老師與畢業生聚首一堂，同心慶賀，隆情盛意，至足銘感。衷心祝願所有畢業生在新的人生道路上，勇往直前，綻放光彩。
