Morning Reading Goes Digital: Launch of "Fireflies.chiculture" Scheme for S.4 & S.5
To further cultivate a self-directed reading habit and enhance students' cultural literacy, the school has successfully launched the "Fireflies.chiculture Morning Reading Scheme" (篇篇流螢晨讀計劃) for all Secondary 4 and 5 students. Every Wednesday morning from 8:15 to 8:35 am, classrooms are transformed into digital reading hubs. Under the guidance of class mentors, students utilize their iPads to access the Fireflies.chiculture platform. The scheme encourages students to read engaging articles related to Chinese culture and history, followed by a five-question challenge to consolidate their understanding. This initiative not only integrates technology into daily learning but also motivates students through a rewarding "Reading Points" system. By completing the weekly reading tasks, students broaden their horizons while building a consistent and meaningful reading routine.
推動電子晨讀：中四及中五級「篇篇流螢」閱讀計劃正式啟動
為培養學生自主閱讀習慣及提升文化素養，本校於中四及中五級正式推行「篇篇流螢」網上晨讀計劃。逢星期三早上 8:15 至 8:35，各班課室化身為電子閱讀空間。在班主任的指導下，同學利用 iPad 登入「篇篇流螢」平台，閱讀有關中國歷史與文化的精選文章，並即時完成五條挑戰題，以鞏固所學。此計劃旨在將科技融入日常學習，讓閱讀變得更具互動性。同學在完成閱讀任務後更可獲得閱讀積分獎勵，我們期望透過此計劃，鼓勵同學善用晨光，在積累知識的同時，建立持之以恆的良好閱讀習慣。
