Academic Talk for S4 Freshmen Successfully Held

On the afternoon of September 24th, the first Academic Talk for S4 freshmen was successfully held at the school hall. The Vice Principal (Academic) firstly introduced the idea of self-directed learning and invited some students to share feelings on their learning journey in KTC. Teacher representative from the Teaching and Learning Development Committee went on to provide students with some useful study tips and examples of how a high-achieving learner organizes and manages his learning, then introduced the assessment/homework policy of the College.

In general, students were highly attentive and engaged. When asked to conclude what students had learnt after the Academic Talk, it would be a quote by a philosopher Debasish Mridha: “If your thirst for knowledge is strong enough, you will find the waters to satisfy it.”
